Not much of a gentleman I am.
I realised i may not be as nice to ladies as i thought. It so happens that i met a few girls lately who happens to possess some behaviour that somehow gets to me. Personally, i prefer women who are more independent and smart. Bimbos and act cute girls definitely not my style. Can u imagine, i get women whining to me everyday for help, wanting to be spoonfed almost everyday. I told them nicely many times to try do things on their own, only if they failed after trying will i be able to feel like helping. And whats worst is, women who think they'r a big deal just because they'r female, thats the no.1 thing that annoys me. In other words, super petty women, even after u apologised countless times , they still think they'r queen and u should bow down to them just because of one small mistake u did. But of course there are exceptions XD, those friends whom i've known longer who might exhibit abit of such behaviour is tolerable to me, then again i believe all of them are independent women to some extend so its not that bad. Wait til u see those type where they ask u for help all the time for almost everything, the ending results is, when u'r not around, they can't do a single thing. Why? cos they'r too dependent on guys whom they think they can charm around. Even if u'r women, u have 2 hands, 2 legs and a brain like us man, so do something abt it!!!!!

Turning poop into gold: Panda droppings to be recycled into souvenirs
It seems the folks over at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Site in Beijing, China are taking the three Rs of recycling a bit too seriously.
They plan to turn panda dung into odor-free souvenirs.
Panda dung bookmarks. Panda dung cute panda statues. Talk about turning one man's waste - or rather, one panda's - into one man's miscellany!
While this sounds a bit unhygienic - after all, poop is poop - Jing Shimin, assistant director of the panda breeding base, says that it won't stink as much (or at all) like the droppings we're normally exposed to. The reason for this is that 70 of panda dung is actually undigested bamboo.
So how are they made, anyway? The process is remarkably simple. First, the dung is carefully selected, then smashed up into a manageable pulp, then dried, and THEN sterilized at a whopping 300 degrees Celsius (that's 572 degrees Fahrenheit). This process ensures that the actual merchandise made from the dung would pose no health risks whatsoever.
The treated dung will then be handled by a local handicraft company, where much of the souvenir-making will take place.
Certainly very creative thinking from the people taking care of these cute yet endangered creatures. It's a double boon for pandas - not only are their habitats getting cleaned, but the money that would have been spent on removing their dung (6,000 yuan, or US $770 per month) would be invested in taking better care of them. Nice.
Poop souvenirs in, garments made out of animal fur out. Updates as we get them! Or as fast the pandas can make them.

Harry Potter worm virus at large on Windows
If you're crazy about Harry Potter and you can't wait to see the movie and get a hand on the merchandise, there's something out there that has Harry Potter that you don't want. A new worm has hopped aboard the bandwagon and is annoying users everywhere.
There's still no lead on the origin of the worm and what to do about it. All that's known at this point is that the worm, called W32/Hairy-A, can be transmitted like regular malware and through removable drives.
If a USB drive is inserted to a port on an infected PC, the worm copies itself to the device, then copies itself to a new host PC and does weird and annoying things to your computer.
Symptoms include starting up to find new user accounts in Windows named after the book's characters, a text document that says Harry Potter is dead, a change in your browser's home page, and a greeting that tells you to repent from your sins because the end is near.
According to IT experts, the code does no big harm, but the act of tampering with a system is against the law. They also say that whoever wrote the code is not after financial gain but is just out there to make a statement.

As long as you have the interest to study, i will have to way to make it happen.
Was out on an errand for a friend to meet his mom. We had a nice long chat, for abt an hour plus. What the topics were about isn't important because she has said what most parents would have done to their children 'As long as you have the interest to study, i will have a way to make it happen'. How i wish someone can say this to me as well. This may seem very common to most of you, of course you do, its because u have a normal parent. Unlike mine, studying is more like a burden rather than a recognition to excellence. Ok i should say parent, this actually only point to my dad. I probably won't want to talk abt the details. At least i know now not every parent are proud of their kids having good results, and i will make sure my kids will nv suffer from a tragedy like this.

Never judge a book by its cover!
I went back to WOW again, and this time in a new server and a new guild. They'r pretty famous so i kinda wanna try my luck there. Almost everyone is singaporean there so timezone isn't a problem and the best thing is everyone is really friendly and kinda quirky lol. The main thing is this, they have gathering every tuesday. I went to their gathering yesterday and guess what, i was expecting a group of teens or kids but i was wrong. Among the list are doctors, dematologist, asthetician, lawyer, teacher, national badminton player, ex-national judo player, etc..... professions of all kind. They'r probably the least of what i expect to play mmorpg like world of warcraft. So everyone else is kinda older than me lol and mature of course and the best thing is, i guess i kinda extended my 'network' by a whole lot this time. Playing online game isn't a bad thing after all lol.

Hahaha, i bet u don't know what CCD means. I'll show you an example.
It is a new disorder can. Something my cousin taught me can. And i realised i started to pick it up without realising can. LOL can. At first i did notice how my cousin speaks since CNY this year can. But recently we spoke so much on MSN can. And somehow this habit creep up on me can. And now i'm already starting to speak like this can!
Lol, now u know what CCD means? Make a guess at least.
Highlight the blanks to the right for answer: CCD = Can Can Disorder
Its like so weird, it seems everyone in his hall started talking like this and he's the one that started it! Haha, guess it can be alittle fun perhaps that why i decided to play with CCD abit :P
I also learnt a new thing from him too, it is called TNN. And u know what that means? Ok i'll give an example, A: 'Your PC should be fine, you won't have to send for repair or anything' B: 'Huh? must send my PC for repair? don't want lahz' A: 'lol u'r so TNN'
This should be quite obvious right? But this time i won't ask you to guess because TNN isn't an english word hahaha. TNN simply stands for 'Ter ner ner' , usually you use it for ppl asking stupid qns or being too spastic for some reason. It appears to be a new word used by young ppl nowadays or maybe that just limit to my cousin's hall lol. In any case, you have a new word so now learn to use it :P And i'm sure some of you guys already know TNN is a very good word to use on someone you know......*hint hint

If you've ever heard or used the expression "out of the blue", you know that it means something abrupt, sudden, and completely unexpected. It's certainly one way to describe the lightning bolt that struck self-employed landscaper David Canales dead, underneath a clear blue sky completely devoid of clouds.
Scared? You probably should be. Experts say that Canales, 41, was killed by a phenomenon called dry lightning - the name because of its tendency to strike in perfectly-good weather - or weather about to turn nasty. For Canales, it was the latter, as meteorological reports show a storm brewing at the time he was hit, but nowhere near the area the landscaper was in.
It's also to note that this incident happened in Florida - the state that's been given the dubious honor of the country's lightning capital. To better understand how a dry lightning bolt differs from its regular, in-storm cousin, here's a short comparison:
- Wet lightning comes from the base of the thunderstorm, while dry lightning can come from a thunderstorm that's still several miles away from the impact area.
- Wet lightning has a positive charge. Dry lightning, on the other hand, has a negative charge that carries a current ten times stronger than wet lightning - not to mention hotter and lasts longer.
- Dry lightning reaches farther than wet lightning - travelling horizontally before arcing downward.
It's certainly spine-chilling when you realize that there's really no way to protect yourself against something that's clearly unexpected. There are ways, however, of decreasing risk, especially if you're in Florida - and that's to get indoors at the slightest hint of bad weather. Keeping up with weather forecasts should also be made a habit. As Dan Dixon, a meteorologist with the Miami Weather Service says - if you're close enough to hear thunder, you're close enough to be struck by lightning.
Scary stuff indeed, that is also why i have no fear of thunder but i do for lightning.

One of my army friends ORD yesterday, so us old birds decided to head down and celebrate with him, theres only 3 of us old birds tho. It was nostalgic, being able to head back to the office as well as chatting with all my sirs and mdms. Even the toilet reminds us of an anecdote or two. Of course i wouldn't want to stay there forever but those 2 yrs i've spent there has already became part of my history thus it is not something easily forgotten. It was really fun, most of us kept reminiscing of our period spent back then. It was hard to believe that so much has changed, in fact the whole office will be going through a big change soon, so nothing much of that place will remain. Kinda sad but i guess things won't always stay the way u want it to be. And i really miss talking rubbish with my army friends there too, i'm very glad we did that yesterday for like hours!
